Aviation is a passion of mine starting from early childhood. After a long journey in life and work, I finally got around to not only being a passenger, but to take the controls myself, starting my PPL(A) at the age of 47 and finishing with the license 23 months later, after 6 months of training and 17 months of having long breaks. Succeeding the final exam on 9/11, the real journey began. 

This site is meant as a reference, given that I had to collect and still collect most of the needed information myself, which I think just keeps interested, passionate people away from aviation. Therefore, I try to do a few things with it, in my native language it is planned to be a "eierlegende Woll-Milch-Sau":

• reference and stock material and information,
• showcase what aviation means to me,
• being an educator, an online learning repository, and
• the place for aviation memories.
